Our fire-rated steel security door is secure and fire-safe with a 90-minute rating for Integrity and Radiation (EW90-C) and standard Kirncroft heavy-duty 10-point locking specification.
Kirncroft fire-rated doors come with a Rutland hydraulic closer to meet building regulation requirements for fire doors to be self-closing.
Hardware includes four stainless steel ball-bearing hinges, a Kirncroft high-security 10-point locking system, a customised 1* equivalent kitemark anti-drill cylinder, and Kirncroft 304-grade stainless steel lever handles.
Kirncroft fire doors are insulated with high-density Rockwool FacadeRock 10 insulation and feature a 2mm thick galvanised steel subframe and 2mm thick galvanised steel reinforcing channels down the length of the door leaf.

“Better than 1*” Kitemarked lock cylinder as standard.
We tested a 1* Kitemarked cylinder in-house, and we felt it wasn’t good enough, so we made some improvements.
High-specification material selection.
Constructed using 1mm galvanised steel for the door skins, 2mm galvanised steel for the frame, 1mm galvanised steel for the subframe and 2mm galvanised steel reinforcing channels. Our 10-point locking fire-rated doors never fail to impress when resisting physical attacks.
Insulation.
High-density Rockwool FacadeRock to both the door and frame means that our doors offer high-performance insulation values and add to the door leaf’s strength and rigidity.
