How many keys are supplied with your cylinders?
Kirncroft 10-Point Locking Steel Security Doors are supplied as standard with 5 keys.
Outside access devices for our fire exit doors are supplied with 3 keys.
Keyed alike cylinders and extra keys can be purchased if required.

What is your current lead time?
Standard 10-point locking doors: 2-5 days
Customised doors & fire exit doors: Variable lead time. Please contact us for an accurate lead time.

How do you determine the handing of the door?

How can payments be made?
Payments can be made by card, BACS or cheque.
Please note that payment by cheque will need to be cleared prior to goods being dispatched.
Do your doors come with a frame?
Our doors are suppled pre-hung in a frame with a stainless steel threshold.
Double doors are shipped with the doors separated from the frames for ease of handling and to ensure that the doors do not get damaged during transport.
Do you offer a final paint finish?
Our door sets are supplied in a grey primer finish.
The nearest RAL colour to match primer is RAL 7003.
Are your sizes the overall size including the frame?
The size shown on our website are the overall measurements including the frame.
Are your products fire rated?
Currently our doors and shutters are not fire rated.
Are your doors supplied with a weatherkit
We supply weather kits for all doors that are to be opening internally.
Are your doors supplied with a cill/threshold?
All our door sets are fitted with either a DDA compliant threshold or a stepped threshold on our 910mm or 1110mm anti-jemmy flanged door sets.
Instructions
What type of fixings should be used to fit a Kirncroft security door?
If not welding a Kirncroft security door into a steel subframe please follow the guidelines below:
Fitting into brickwork:
M8 x 50mm coach screw with 10mm rawl plugs.
Fitting into blockwork:
Either M8 x 50mm Coach screws with 10mm rawl plugs or M10 x 50 coach screws with 12mm rawl plugs.
Fitting into a timber frame:
EitherM8 x 50mm coach screws or M10 x 50mm coach screws (no need for rawl plugs).
Fitting into lightweight steel frame:
No.14 (6.3mm) X 50mm self-drilling flanged hexagon tek bolts with a washer if required.
Fitting into a heavy-duty frame (such as support beams or steel angles):
M10 x 50 hex bolt sets.
(Please note that the length of the bolts and screws should be taken as a general guide and may not be suitable for every situation).
